Selling the 501 South Pearl Street Property
After years of soul-searching to reach this point, the congregation voted to sell our 115 years old building and relocate to a building that is easier and less expensive to maintain. The congregation struggled to balance its love for the historic building with the financial realities of maintaining it. The money, they decided, could be better spent serving the mission and ministry.
While we are proud of our current building, our church is the people, we are dedicated to Native American ministry and making a difference in the world. The ministry of our church is to experience and bring the Gospel of our Jesus Christ to our metropolitan area.
With so many memories of baptism, baby showers, birthday parties, concerts, bazaars, and great food, It is difficult to leave this building after 37 years and we want to create new memories in the future and will carry the message of our Creator with us to our new building.
Currently the 501 South Pearl Street property is on the market and have no potential buyers as of yet. We are continuing to meet at this location for our 11:00am Sunday services. Link to our web page, www.denvercic.org, for update concerning our ministry and property updates.
